About the Artist

Smiling woman with blonde hair, wearing a red blazer and a colorful scarf with rooster designs.

My background

Amanda Korth is an artist, writer, and lifelong student of personal transformation.

For more than a decade, she has worked as a financial advisor and educator, helping families navigate some of life's most significant transitions. That work deepened her fascination with identity, purpose, resilience, and the stories people carry beneath the surface.

Her early artistic work often reflected a strong interest in composition, symbolism, and visual storytelling. This year, her focus has shifted toward larger, more expressive abstract work. Rather than painting what something looks like, she has become increasingly interested in painting what something feels like—exploring meaning, emotion, tension, freedom, connection, and transformation through color, texture, gesture, and mark-making.

This evolution continues to challenge her natural tendencies toward structure, precision, and design. Much of her current work is an exploration of letting go of certainty in order to discover something deeper and more honest.

Amanda's Christian faith has been a steady foundation throughout her adult life and informs the way she views growth, creativity, relationships, and personal responsibility. She believes that curiosity, discernment, creativity, and the desire to keep growing are gifts from God, and her work often reflects an ongoing search for truth, meaning, beauty, and what it means to live fully and faithfully.

She lives in southern Colorado, where she paints, writes, studies art history, and continues exploring the question that lies beneath much of her work:

What does it mean to stay alive to your own life?

Her work is ultimately an exploration of meaning, transformation, and the lifelong process of becoming who we were created to be.
